# Your first five minutes

> Create a note, ask for help, and check the result.

  <Step title="Create a note">
    Click the **+** button in the app header, labeled **New note**. Give the page a title such as “My first week.”

  <Step title="Write three rough thoughts">
    Try this sample, or use a small real task:

    ```text theme={null}
    I need to prepare for Friday's project check-in.
    I have a draft but still need feedback from Sam.
    I want to leave the meeting with a decision on the launch date.
    ```

    Plain sentences are enough. You can organize them later.

  <Step title="Ask Charlie about the page">
    Choose **Ask Char** in the page header. Check that the page appears in the chat context, then send:

    > Turn this note into a short checklist. Separate what I can do now from what I need to ask Sam. Keep it in this chat for me to review.

  <Step title="Review and refine">
    Read the result. If it misses something, follow up in the same chat:

    > The draft is already written. Make the first step reviewing it, and keep the checklist to four items.

    Check names, dates, and assumptions before using the answer.

  <Step title="Keep the useful part">
    Copy the checklist into your note, or ask Charlie to update the page with your chosen version. Review the resulting page to confirm it says what you intended.
